This canvas started out as an experiment with a cubist style. (You can see the cubist element and how it began, in the top left quadrant where the painting is in blocks). The rest came about by spraying lightly in plains and then working back into the cubist elements, and turning them into three dimensional patterns, using lighter and darker shades to enhance the sculpted forms.
